$30 is too much to play for 13 months on XBL with friends & gamers who actually have mics.... shoot it's worth it just for all the Demos alone XBL offers over PSN. Party chat with your buddies = priceless.

The 360 is soooo incredibly flawed, & PS3 is such an outstanding value that it continues to solidify it's position as the Number 3 out of 3 consoles available this Gen, with an absurd attatch rate for the PS brand, Games that take 3-4+ years to develop, & "great" Exclusives that dont sell, Multiplats that can't run without mandatory installs & usually look worse & run @ lower framerates than 360.... yet Sony still remains fairly arrogant. Bubbs 4u mayberry. I have both, both systems have strengths & flaws. If you ever want to get into social online gaming, I highly recommend xbl. PS3 should have a good upcoming year, I have enjoyed titles such as MGS4 & Uncharted on the system & the BluRay feature.
But yes, if you can only have one, please enjoy it & why hate your fellow gamers.

Well, if you want to go with what the majority of consumers "want" it would be a PS3 + 1080p HDTV + a Ferrari. If you want to go with what they can afford, it would be an X360 Arcade for $199 or a Wii.
